As a prelude to our upcoming anniversary last year, I surprised my husband with tickets to one of his favorite bands – Warpaint. Warpaint is a all-female groups that treat listeners to blend of rock-synth with an female edge. They were playing at the Vic Theater located in Chicago. We grabbed a bite of pizza before heading to the theater to watch this entrancing group. Suffice to say we both enjoyed our time listening and grooving out to the vibes they were putting out. Here is my journal entry that captures a memorable evening to celebrate our union:
